Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Pay special attention to the clauses in bold, as they may limit our liability or pose a risk to you.
1. DURATION
The competition begins at 12:00 on Friday, 5th August 2024, at the Umlazi Mega City Mall, 50 Griffiths Mxenge Hwy, Umlazi V, Umlazi, and concludes at 15:00 on Friday, 30th August 2024 (the “Competition Period”) on GAGASI FM.
2. REQUIREMENTS
2.1 To be eligible to enter this competition, you must meet all the following criteria:
- 2.1.1 Be 18 years of age or older;
- 2.1.2 Be a South African citizen with a valid South African identity document;
- 2.1.3 Reside permanently in the Republic of South Africa.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 Listen to GAGASI FM from 5th August to 30th August 2024, and join the GAGASI FM Outside Broadcast at the Umlazi Mega City Mall from 12:00-15:00 to participate in the VODACOM VibeWithYourFaves event with Vodacom.
- 3.1.1 Attendees have the opportunity to create content with their favorite DJ and influencer for a chance to win R10,000, courtesy of Vodacom with their Vodacom YouTube Data.
- 3.1.2 Vodacom YouTube Data Offer:

3.2 There are four R10,000 cash prizes up for grabs!
To participate, create content with Tsholofelo Maseko—whether singing your favourite song, dancing, or taking photos with Tsholofelo.
To enter, upload your content to social media using the hashtags #vibewithyourfaves, #Vodacom, #GAGASIFM, and #[yourname].
3.3 All participants will receive an entry into the competition by completing the entry form at the GAGASI FM outside broadcast at the Umlazi Mega City Mall between 12:00 and 15:00 and posting their content on Facebook. Entries will be managed by MediaHeads 360 (the “Agency”) and audited by a Vodacom-appointed auditor.
3.4 Once you meet the requirements outlined in clauses 2 and 3.3 above, you will automatically be entered into the competition.
3.5 You may enter this competition multiple times, but you are eligible to win only one prize.
3.6 On 30th August 2024, from 12:00-15:00, four R10,000 prizes will be awarded. Winners will be selected randomly and contacted by MediaHeads 360.
4. PRIZES
4.1 A Vodacom auditor will select four winners to each receive R10,000, and all winners will be announced on the station’s Facebook page.
4.2 Each winner will receive a prize as specified in clause 3.6.
4.3 Prizes will be sent via SMS to the verified cell phone numbers provided on the entry forms.
4.4 Each winner will receive R10,000 in cash within 21 business days after being confirmed as a winner.
4.5 It is the winner’s responsibility to check their phone to ensure they have received the prize via SMS within the 21 business days. If the SMS is not received within this period, the winner MUST contact MediaHeads 360 (the “Agency”) to follow up on the status of their prize.
4.6 Winners must also ensure they receive the correct prize amount.
5. GENERAL
5.1 MediaHeads 360 is the promoter of the competition. Any reference to “we/us/our” includes our directors, members, partners, sponsors, agents, or consultants, where applicable.
5.2 You are not eligible to participate in this competition if:
- 5.2.1 You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant of ours;
- 5.2.2 You are an immediate family member of any persons specified in clause 5.2.1; or
- 5.2.3 You are the sponsor of the competition.
5.3 These Terms are governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
5.4 These Terms apply to the competition and all related information (including any promotional or advertising material published).
5.5 By entering this competition, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms.
5.6 We reserve the right to amend these Terms.
5.7 All prize winners must comply with these Terms and any other terms and conditions prescribed by Vodacom or the organizers, suppliers, and third parties involved in the competition (if applicable).
5.8 We will process your personal information to validate your entry and, if you are a prize winner, to award the prize. By entering this competition, you consent to us processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent, please do not enter this competition.
5.9 We may declare the prize forfeited and select a new winner if:
- 5.9.1 A prize winner’s entry is invalid;
- 5.9.2 A prize winner has violated these Terms;
- 5.9.3 A prize winner cannot be contacted or does not accept the prize.
