STANDARD BANK DO MORE CHALLENGE – Community Radio- April–Dec 2026 COMPETITION

STATIONS: Motheo FM, Jozi FM, Izwi Lomzansi, Radio Zibonele, Vhembe FM, Emalahleni FM, Alfred Nzo, Kurara FM, Mahikeng FM

  1. DURATION
  • The campaign will run from 13 April 2025 to 21 December 2026 (“Campaign Period”).
  • The competition will run from 20 April to 21 December 2026 (“Competition Period”), with the on-air competition moment taking place once a month during the broadcast times 06h00 – 18h00.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 To qualify as an entrant into this Competition, you must:

  • Be a permanent resident or citizen of the Republic of South Africa;
  • Be 18 years or older; and
  • Have a valid South African Identity Document or Smart ID Card.

2.2 Employees, directors, agents, and consultants of Standard Bank, the participating radio stations, their advertising agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Competition.

3. HOW TO ENTER

  • Listen to the radio broadcast on Motheo FM, Jozi FM, Izwi Lomzansi, Radio Zibonele, Vhembe FM, Emalahleni FM, Alfred Nzo, Kurara FM, and Mahikeng FM on the scheduled monthly competition day (refer to Clause 1).
  • Use the WhatsApp number provided to enter (number to be confirmed and announced on-air).
  • To enter, send a WhatsApp message with your full name to the competition WhatsApp number once announced, and you could be called back to play on-air.

4. PRIZES

  • Each monthly winner will receive R2,500 in cash (“Base Prize”).
  • If the winner has purchased airtime, vouchers, electricity, or any similar product to the value of R50 or more within 72 hours prior to winning during the Competition Period, they will qualify to have their prize doubled to R5,000 (“Double-Up Prize”).
  • Proof of qualifying purchase, showing date and time of transaction, will be required before the Double-Up Prize can be awarded.
  • Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for any other goods or services.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

  • Winners will be selected by the participating radio station(s) through a random selection process from valid entries received on the monthly competition day.
  • Winners will be notified telephonically during the show or shortly thereafter.
  • If a selected winner cannot be reached within 48 hours, they will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected.

6. GENERAL

  • By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • Standard Bank and the participating radio stations reserve the right to verify the validity of any entry and the eligibility of the winner.
  • Standard Bank and the participating radio stations reserve the right to amend, modify, or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice.
  • Standard Bank, the participating radio stations, and their agents accept no responsibility for entries lost, misdirected, or delayed due to technical or network issues.
  • The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Neither Standard Bank nor the radio station will ever ask for your personal information like your PIN, OTP, or any payment to release your prize money.

7. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • By entering this Competition, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information by Standard Bank and the participating radio stations for the purposes of administering the Competition and awarding prizes.
