VODACOM [“VODACOM #VibeWithYourFaves”] COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Pay special attention to the clauses in bold, as they may limit our liability or involve some risk to you.
1. DURATION
The competition starts at 13:00 on Friday, 5th August 2024, at the Pick n Pay Taxi Rank in Polokwane, Capricorn District in Limpopo province, located at the corner of Rissik and Church Street. The competition ends at 15:00 on Friday, 30th August 2024 (Competition Period) on Thobela FM.
2. REQUIREMENTS
2.1 To qualify as an entrant into this competition, you must meet all the following requirements:
- 2.1.1 Be 18 years of age or older;
- 2.1.2 Be a South African citizen holding a valid South African identity document;
- 2.1.3 Permanently reside in the Republic of South Africa.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 Listen to Thobela FM from 5th August to 30th August 2024, and join the Thobela FM Outside Broadcast at the Pick n Pay Taxi Rank in Polokwane, Capricorn District in Limpopo province, from 13:00-15:00. Enjoy the VODACOM #VibeWithYourFaves event with Vodacom.
- 3.1.1 Attendees have the opportunity to create content with their favorite DJs and Zillewizzy for a chance to win R10,000, all courtesy of Vodacom with their Vodacom YouTube Data.
- 3.1.2 Vodacom YouTube Data Information:

3.2 There are four R10,000 cash prizes up for grabs!
To participate, create content with Zillewizzy—whether singing your favourite song, dancing, or taking photos with Zillewizzy.
To enter, upload your content to social media using the hashtags #vibewithyourfaves, #Vodacom, #ThobelaFM, and #[yourname].
3.3 All entrants will receive an entry into the competition as soon as they fill in their details on the entry form at the Thobela FM outside broadcast at the Pick n Pay Taxi Rank in Polokwane, Capricorn District in Limpopo province between 13:00 and 15:00 and post their content on Facebook. Entries will be managed by MediaHeads 360 (the “Agency”) and audited by an auditor from Vodacom.
3.4 Once you meet the requirements set out in clauses 2 and 3.3 above, you will automatically be entered into the competition.
3.5 You may enter this competition as many times as you want, but you will not be eligible to win more than one prize.
3.6 On 30th August 2024, from 13:00-15:00, there will be four R10,000 prizes to be won on that day. Winners will be selected randomly and contacted by MediaHeads 360.
4. PRIZES
4.1 A Vodacom auditor will select four winners eligible to win R10,000 each. All winners will be announced on the station’s Facebook post.
4.2 Each winner will receive a prize as stipulated in clause 3.6.
4.3 The prize will be sent as an SMS to the winner’s verified cell phone number that was supplied on the entry form.
4.4 Each winner will receive R10,000 cash within 21 business days after being selected as a winner.
4.5 It is the winner’s responsibility to check their phone to ensure they received the prize via an SMS within the 21 business days period. If they have not received the SMS within this period, they MUST contact MediaHeads 360 (the “Agency”) to follow up on the status of their prize.
4.6 It is the winner’s responsibility to check their phone to ensure they received the correct amount.
5. GENERAL
5.1 We, MediaHeads 360, are the promoter of the competition. Any reference to “we/us/our” includes our directors, members, partners, sponsors, agents, or consultants, where the context allows for it.
5.2 You cannot participate in this competition if:
- 5.2.1 You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant of ours;
- 5.2.2 You are an immediate family member of any of the persons specified in clause 5.2.1; or
- 5.2.3 You are the sponsor of the competition.
5.3 These Terms are governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
5.4 These Terms apply to the competition and all information relating to the competition (including any promotional or advertising material that is published).
5.5 By entering this competition, all entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
5.6 We reserve the right to amend these Terms.
5.7 All prize winners, in addition to complying with these Terms and any other terms and conditions which may be prescribed by Vodacom from time to time, must comply with the terms and conditions of the organizers, suppliers, and third parties involved in the competition (if applicable).
5.8 We must process your personal information to validate your entry and, if you are a prize winner, to make the prize available to you. By entering this competition, you consent to us processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent to us processing your personal information, please do not enter this competition.
5.9 We may declare the prize forfeited and choose a new prize winner if:
- 5.9.1 A prize winner’s entry is not valid;
- 5.9.2 A prize winner has breached these Terms;
- 5.9.3 A prize winner cannot be contacted or does not accept the prize.
