VODACOM [“VODACOM #VibeWithYourFaves”] COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Pay special attention to the clauses in bold, as they may limit our liability or involve some risk to you.
1. DURATION
The competition begins at 13:00 on Friday, 5th August 2024, at the LOTA Taxi Rank in Emalahleni/Witbank, Mpumalanga, located at the corner of Beaty & Escombe Street. It ends at 15:00 on Friday, 30th August 2024 (the “Competition Period”) on Ligwalagwala FM.
2. REQUIREMENTS
2.1 To be eligible to enter this competition, you must meet all the following criteria:
- 2.1.1 Be 18 years of age or older.
- 2.1.2 Be a South African citizen with a valid South African identity document.
- 2.1.3 Reside permanently in the Republic of South Africa.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To participate, listen to Ligwalagwala FM from 5th August to 30th August 2024 and attend the Ligwalagwala FM Outside Broadcast at the LOTA Taxi Rank in Emalahleni/Witbank, Mpumalanga, from 13:00-15:00. Enjoy the VODACOM #VibeWithYourFaves event hosted by Vodacom.
- 3.1.1 Attendees can create content with their favorite DJs and Naledi Malella for a chance to win R10,000, courtesy of Vodacom with their Vodacom YouTube Data.
- 3.1.2 Vodacom YouTube Data Offer:

3.2 There are four R10,000 cash prizes available!
To enter, create content with Naledi Malella—whether singing your favorite song, dancing, or taking photos with Naledi.
Upload your content to social media using the hashtags #vibewithyourfaves, #Vodacom, #LigwalagwalaFM, and #[yourname].
3.3 To be eligible for entry, complete the entry form at the Ligwalagwala FM Outside Broadcast at the LOTA Taxi Rank in Emalahleni/Witbank, Mpumalanga, between 13:00 and 15:00 and post your content on Facebook. Entries will be managed by MediaHeads 360 (“the Agency”) and audited by a Vodacom-appointed auditor.
3.4 Once you meet the requirements outlined in clauses 2 and 3.3 above, you will automatically be entered into the competition.
3.5 You may enter the competition as many times as you like, but you are only eligible to win one prize.
3.6 On 30th August 2024, from 13:00-15:00, four R10,000 prizes will be awarded. Winners will be randomly selected and contacted by MediaHeads 360.
4. PRIZES
4.1 A Vodacom auditor will select four winners, each eligible to win R10,000 all winners will be announced on the stations Facebook page.
4.2 Each winner will receive a prize as described in clause 3.6.
4.3 The prize will be sent via SMS to the winner’s verified cell phone number provided on the entry form.
4.4 Winners will receive their R10,000 cash prize within 21 business days after being confirmed as a winner.
4.5 It is the winner’s responsibility to check their phone to ensure they have received the prize via SMS within the 21 business days period. If the SMS is not received within this period, the winner MUST contact MediaHeads 360 (the “Agency”) to follow up on the status of their prize.
4.6 Winners must also ensure they receive the correct prize amount.
5. GENERAL
5.1 MediaHeads 360 is the promoter of the competition. Any reference to “we/us/our” includes our directors, members, partners, sponsors, agents, or consultants, where applicable.
5.2 You are not eligible to participate in this competition if:
- 5.2.1 You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant of ours;
- 5.2.2 You are an immediate family member of any persons specified in clause 5.2.1; or
- 5.2.3 You are the sponsor of the competition.
5.3 These Terms are governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
5.4 These Terms apply to the competition and all related information (including any promotional or advertising material published).
5.5 By entering this competition, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms.
5.6 We reserve the right to amend these Terms.
5.7 All prize winners must comply with these Terms and any other terms and conditions prescribed by Vodacom or the organizers, suppliers, and third parties involved in the competition (if applicable).
5.8 We will process your personal information to validate your entry and, if you are a prize winner, to award the prize. By entering this competition, you consent to us processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent, please do not enter this competition.
5.9 We may declare the prize forfeited and select a new winner if:
- 5.9.1 A prize winner’s entry is invalid;
- 5.9.2 A prize winner has violated these Terms;
- 5.9.3 A prize winner cannot be contacted or does not accept the prize.
